Re: MGF Trophy 160 Rear Badge Wanted
On the MGF Trophy 160 owners club facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1531135 ... 8/?fref=nf
There is a guy called Rich Stone who can make up badge replacement decals. You cannot get the old badges anymore, I tried for weeks.
Hope this helps.

Re: Calling all experts... urgent advice required.. OMG(F)
You dont always need to skim a head when replacing a gasket. They are correct though, you can only remove a very, very small amount of metal from the lower surface or you get contact between various components. You can however use a shim with the gasket which keeps the overall "thickness" the same. ...

Every single Mg.Org member, and MGCC member I have EVER spoke to that has had work done by Halfrauds has been left with appalling results and had to go elsewhere. Ive seen people take them to court over poor work. Here's a quick sample. http://www.the-t-bar.com/en/forum/9-mgf-tf-pitstop/89693-ate-a-...

Re: 56mm throttle body?
Im affraid all of the advert on one of the 56mm bodies on ebay is bull poo. For starters, they are hands down shown to loose power, the pressure post throttle is incorrect and the K series does not like it. Then the ebay add.... was a good laugh to read. "A second gent bought one for his MGTF 1800VV...

Re: MG TF 135 power increases..........
Ive taken a 135 to about 142 with just exhaust and induction mods. You could easily take it to 150 with the right bolt ons and remaps, beyond that you're spending silly money for the gain you can get with a 160. I personally went for new plugs, coil packs and leads first - make the best of stock.The...

Was in my local paper.
Cat got into engine bay and then moved into the boot area between the shell and the panel apparently, though I dont see how.

Re: Insurance write off!! sad times
Take the tax out and return it for a refund - so many people dont do this and waste thousands each year.
£700 is actually a good offer for an MGF.
Its also why you were injured in the crash.

Whats your budget and area?
There are usually plenty of examples going for around the £800 mark which are in good condition, in fact I can see 2/3 for sale in that price bracket now.

MGF Panther For Sale - One of only 2 known to be left.
For sale, sadly and reluctantly, a very, very rare limited edition MGF Panther in cracking condition, with MOT until May 2014 and Taxed until New Years Eve 2013. This is car number 006 and is believed to be the last produced by Fairways MG-Rover in Gillingham before going bankrupt in 1999. Here's th...

Re: selling my mgf
£600-700 would be a fair price. Good condition common MPI F's this age still fetch this sort of money as long as MOT is long. The lack of tax might make that closer to £600. Certainly no less than that.
Ebay or Pistonheads - or both.
