Re: January sale – garage clear out
I am afraid so..... sad, but the right thing to do. I salvaged parts I needed, or would find useful, to go on the wedgewood se (stainless pipes, ss exhaust etc). Still have loads of bits left over... I even have a proper walnut steering cowl surround thingamy bob for a MKI F somewhere in...

January sale – garage clear out
January sale - just like the ScS furniture sale, except it is not happening all year round  Hi everyone, I am having a clear out of some cherished parts from my MG. Would rather they go to a loving home via this forum, before putting on the Fleabay. I have lots of other MG stuff, but the big ti...

Re: To buy or not to buy, an MGF
Welcome Chris, As Adrian mentioned I drive 2 steppys which although are not the most powerful, I've really grown to like them. Both of them will occasionally lurch and then stall on a cold and damp day when pulling off from standstill. After that they drive fine. I've changed various things but neve...

Hi and welcome John. I am just down the road in Sutton. Might see you about.
It will be interesting to see how you get on with the Suplex kit.

Re: Poor Radio Recption
I thought I had a bad reception on the Wedgewood SE so took out the OEM radio and replaced with OEM radio from the other F and it made no difference. Tried different OEM aerials and aftermarket aerials, and still no difference. Then I noticed that the bad reception improved when the engine was switch...

Re: Guided busway
We have guided buses in Cawley but they only have short stretches of "track". and I do know of a bus track that runs between Greenwich and Dartford but that is basically just a road that is only accesable by buses. Good to know that we are not the only place to have them, so we are not going mad in...

Guided busway
So.... it finally got built in Cambridgeshire. The mad idea to put buses on tracks that used to be railway lines  Has anyone been on it as yet? If, and when, I get some time I will take the old pushbike for a spin as the tarmac looks super smooth :thumbsu: I drove past the other week, and took ...

Re: Guess the exhaust... well can anyone help?
I think the Double S supersports has the brushed and polished finishers with rings, and the standard Double S is just plain polished finishers; so certainly a possibility. Although from memory the finishers are a bit shorter than in your photo.

Re: Any enthusiast in the Peterborough area.
Hi Jon, and welcome to :D the F Register I don't know of anywhere in Peterborough that does any hydragas pump ups. Marshalls would be a good place to start, as an Xpart service centre, but there are probably some cheaper alternatives about. Definitely worth checking out Stan Smith in Sutton, he is v...

Re: eBay Hardtop....what model is it?
Definitely not your normal MGF/TF hardtop. There are a few custom ones I have seen before, but the brackets on the back reminds me of an MX5 hard top. Hope it's not a mis-advertised sale.

Re: Rear Light Covers TF NOW available
Advertised in Safety Fast, with a retail price of £20 IRRC, although I contacted my local X Part dealer who was unaware of them, so think you need to contact X Part directly until they filter through.

Hi Johnathan and welcome, Don't know of anyone in the area, you could be the first. I don't refill mine that often - maybe once a year at most at local garage. Having access to your own would be extremely useful, especially if you want to top it up in the winter. Good luck with building the pump. :t...
