Keith, I've taken the liberty of adding a couple of international events that the MGF Register will be officially attending and supporting.

As always, if you are interested in attending any of these events please just write to the events team for UK events or me for international ones.

I still have no further details on the EEOTY yet (Monday 7/12) but check the weekend before as this may be of interest to anybody thinking of going to Italy :) .
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.

No Col, the weekend before is the German 40th anniversary weekend. It's possible we could combine the two, but I need to know details from the EEOTY first. That's what's delaying things.

Looks like the British Grand Prix has finally been settled with Silverstone securing the rights to stage the GP for the next 17 years. Next years British Grand Prix (subject to final release of the 2010 calendar later this week) is scheduled for 11 July 2010 (Same day as the World Cup Final as it happens).

Hopefully this means that the dates for MGLive can be sorted and announced soon. :thumbsu:

Hope so John, I only hope it allows our calendar to go ahead, there aren't many spare weeekends.

No problems Adrian, that is what this list is for. Will try to keep it up todate with main events only. SteveW ran a list like this one through 2009 in the midlands area of the forum and it really helped to see what was going on at a glance.

I have added the 2010 main event list to the forum calendar too.

We can also run a list of of local & regional events if there is enough interest - but then again, the calendar can cover these events as easy.

Thanks Keith, I will only update official Register attended events or we will have far too much to take in.

I would hope the chance will be there again next year. The MGCC have organised parade laps all through this year at each circuit so hopefully they will do again next year. Numbers are limited though as they have to fit it into the lunch break. Remember your MGCC membership card as you will need it to register for the laps - no card = no laps!

problem is - two events organised by different organisations - race meet MGCC, Brooklands - by mmnn Brooklands, even though it is a MG meet.

Same here, Brands Saturday - then onto Brooklands Sunday :thumbsu:

THE 2010 MGCC RACE CALENDAR is still awaiting official confirmation.
However, the provisional calendar is as follows as shown on MGCC website today:

10/11th April Brand Hatch (possible 2 day meeting)

8th May Oulton Park

5/6th June Silverstone (to be confirmed following the World Motor Sport Council meeting on the 9th December to finalize the F1 GP dates)

4/5th Sept Cadwell Park (possibility for a 2 day meeting)

2/3 October Snetterton

There will possibly a race at Donington but that depends on what is happening with the circuit.

These dates are still subject to change until contracts have been signed.

It is good to see the details confirmed. :thumbsu:

The use of the GP circuit is creating a lot of interest with the drivers and they will get slightly longer races as each lap will be longer than they normally race on at Silverstone. The down side is, a longer length circuit takes more marshals to monitor it. I know the F Register normally does a lot at MGLive but if any one wishes to help out specifically for the racing, let me know and I can put you in touch with the chief marshal for the event.
