Sunday 12th February 2017
6 cars / 12 members met at The Dobbies Garden Centre in Shepton Mallet. After a coffee and chat in the café we set off on the run organised by Trev & Di. The route took us to Wells, then up on to the Mendips past the Wells TV & radio transmitter and then veered left and down Burrington Coombe for the obligatory photo stop. The route then took us through some the Chew Valley including some lovely hamlets before we arrived at the Carpenters Arms in Stanton Wick.
After sharing a delicious Sunday lunch and some more chatter, we made our separate ways home. I’m sure we’ll be paying a visit to the Carpenters Arms again in the summer.
Sunday 19th March

Scatter Treasure Hunt – Sunday 3rd July 2017
8 members / 4 cars joined with the Woolbridge Motor Club for a Scatter Treasure Hunt. This was a first for us ~ we had to find 15 out of 20 clues around the Dorset countryside form locations marked on a map.
Different clues scored varying numbers of points. It proved an enjoyable way of seeing the beautiful countryside.
Congratulations to Dave and Sue who were the top MGF Register team.
Annual Skittles Match - Thursday 20th June 2017
12 members met at The Quarry Inn in Keinton Mandeville for our annual skittles match. After 6 hands and much laughter and great skill by some members in managing to place the ball between the skittles and avoiding knocking any pins over, Steve Haines was declared the winner for the 2nd year running. Congratulations Steve.
Trev won the booby prize of a Cars blow up beach ball which should help him next year in scoring ball points!
Thursday 18th May, 2017 - Meet & Meal
