Sorry guys - not able to attend this one - gonna be on holiday. Have a great day though.

Just a thought - might be worth someone checking in with the organisers again on the Saturday, just to make sure they have a pitch and are aware that you are coming. Last year we were not on their list when I called in - worth a check.

Car Show - Sunday 14/09/2008
St Mary's plays host to a number of events each year the biggest of which is the Classic Car Show.

Classic Car Show - Sunday 14th September 2008
Since 1999 a sub committee of St Mary’s Catholic School’s parents’ association (SMA) has organised a motor show every September. Our 10 acre site is well maintained and has easy access for vehicles to playing fields.
Our school is very conveniently situated one mile from Junction 8 on the M11.

Each year the Motor Show has attracted more punters and exhibitors. The Show includes a large exhibition of individually owned classic, vintage and veteran cars, motor cycles, military and commercial vehicles as well as an increasing number of new car dealerships displaying their dazzling new models. Around 5,000 people attend and there is a licensed Bar, BBQs, Teas, Ploughmans Lunches and childrens’ entertainment live band playing all day and representatives from the local newspaper and radio station.

Classic car clubs are also represented. There is a 'best in Show' competition. In recent years Mercedes Benz have sponsored the whole event. To date every year we have been very lucky with the weather!

The Show is on Sunday 14th September 2008 from 11am to 5pm. Admission for spectators is £5 per person.
If you are in possession of a classic vehicle and would like to come to our show you are warmly invited to download an application form from this website and return it to the school asap. Thank you.

Please note that dogs cannot be permitted on the school site. Apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you.

We will meet you at the Carpenters we might as well make the most of the convoy as we have not had many of them this year.

If the show starts at 11am why are you leaving as early as 8am? Not that i care as i'm not going but it's not going to take you 3hours to get there and even if you've got to be there early to set up i doubt you would want to be there 2hours before the show opens to the public.
