I do not see any requirement that the previous Thread should be "LOCKED"
If this Tonneau is an MGR Original, then it is essential that it goes with the Fitting Kit comprising of the 4 Screen vent Pins, longer RH and LH 'T' Bar Pins and replacement 'T' Bar Double center pin assembly since these are rarer than chickens teeth and there are no alternatives available.
